A Must See Production - Disney on Ice!

Disney on Ice is a must-see production that shows annually at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on their UK Tour. The tour travels all across the UK, beginning in March in Aberdeen, travelling through cities such as Liverpool, Glasgow, London, Dublin and Birmingham and finishing in May at Leeds. This fantastic, feel-good show is an excellent treat for you and the kids! As expected with Disney, the show creates a magical atmosphere with their popular characters, beautiful sets and exquisite costumes. If you have never been, we highly recommend you go!

The show is hosted by the all time classic favourites Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse. They take us on the adventure to meet different Disney characters and this year the adventures take us to the lands of Frozen, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid.

This year's shows features the wonderful Frozen characters Anna and Elsa . This time, you will be travelling the North Mountain to find Elsa with Anna, Hansel, Sven and Olaf too! The wonderful thing about Disney on Ice is that they really involve the audience and although the arena is huge, it feels like an intimate setting with a magical journey.

Joining Elsa and Anna at this year's Disney on Ice will be the relatively new princess Rapunzel and her charming alley Flynn Ryder from Tangled. You will go 'Under the Sea' to experience life with Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder and other sea creatures from the Little Mermaid. And finally have your tissues at the ready as you witness one of Disney's classic love stories between Belle and Beast, they will be joined by the lively chorus of Mrs Potts, Chip, Lumiere and Cogsworth all from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Disney on Ice is set to hit Belfast between the 15th-19th April with a number of shows each day. It will be a spectacular set of shows for all the family.

Disney on Ice is an opportunity to dress up when you go to see the shows. Some people chose to dress up as characters that will be included in the show, other chose to dress up as their favourite character from Disney. Throughout the 15th-19th of April when the shows are happening we are bound to see all kinds of little Disney characters roaming the streets of Belfast going to or from the show. Toy Story Characters are perfect Disney costumes even though they aren't included in this year's show, the most popular of which would be Buzz and Woody for the boys and of course Jessie for the girls.

Princess costumes are also very popular throughout Disney this is because there are so many to chose from! There's Belle, Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White just to name a few of the classic princesses, but we can't forget about the new comers who are Rapunzel the extremely long haired princess from Tangled, Merida the rebellious princess from Brave, and not to forget the fun loving Anna, and the Ice Queen Elsa from the ever popular Frozen.
