Everybody loves a good Halloween movie to get into the spirit, especially a classic Halloween movie like The Nightmare Before Christmas!!
So why not dress as your favourite rag doll from Halloween Town, just like Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas!! Sally is an intelligent and inconspicuous rag doll made of various pieces stitched together, who is the creation of Dr. Finkelstein. Sally is the love interest of Halloween Towns Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, and has the skills of crafting potions!!
The dress is a dull colour like Sally’s in the movie, made up of different coloured patches in green, grey, beige and burnt orange made from a polyester material. The patches have different designs such as polka dots, swirls, and tiger print, all printed in black. The dress has a tattered hem and sleeves to give it an old and worn look, and the hem of the dress falls longer to the left-hand side.
If you want to really go all out and look like the best Sally, then why not paint yourself blue with some face or body paint, for the stitched details just add some black face paint to make it look you’ve been stitched together and for the finishing touches add a long red wig!!
