Christmas Nativity Characters

The nativity is a traditional play carried out in many Christian churches and schools around Christmas time. The story outlines the birth of Jesus and the anticipation around his birth.

This story is made up of many significant characters: Mary, Joseph, the Wise Men, the Inn Keepers, the Donkey, the Angel, the Star and the list goes on! It is essential these characters can be recognised and this is largely shown through their costumes.

Many schools have made their play unique, including adding chickens, lambs and other animals to their play!
