Florence Nightingale is a massive inspiration for women. She made huge progress in the world of nursing in Britain during the 1800s. She was largely recognised for her devotion to helping the soldiers during the Crimean war (October 1853 – February 1856) and was recognised as a hero in the eyes of the British public. She then established the first school of nursing in the UK in 1860, improved healthcare and also expanded the acceptance of female participation in the workforce.
This costume would be perfect for Florence Nightingale or even a Victorian Maid. The costume is a black, long sleeved dress with an attached white apron. It has a white collar and three false white buttons. The costume comes with a white bonnet-syle hat.
